MARIA GABRIELA LEON PAEZ GARCIA

Mare Incognitum is a psychogeographical study of the marine waste that was found in three Australian beaches that are located within the Melbourne precinct. All of the waste samples that are shown in these photographs were collected from Saint Kilda Beach, Brighton Beach and South Melbourne Beach. My trips to these public beaches were frequent but always short. I found that I only needed 1 hour and a half at the most to fill at least 2 bags with plastic waste.
